Tedo Rehviashvili

(b. 1990, Tbilisi) is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, installation, collage, and printmaking. His practice explores the intersections of memory, history, and transformation—rooted in the emotional aftermath of post-Soviet Georgia and his family’s displacement from Abkhazia.

A graduate of the New York Academy of Art and the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, Rekhviashvili’s layered visual language blends classical composition with fragmentary, symbolic storytelling. Trains, ruins, mythic figures, and religious motifs often populate his surfaces, inviting viewers into spaces charged with personal and collective memory.

His recent exhibitions include Memory, Power & Temptations (Bentley Gallery, Tbilisi, 2024), Encoded Emotions (MEGA Art Fair, Milan, 2025), and Life Under the Blue Sky (Venice Biennale, 2026).
