Mako Lomadze

Mako Lomadze is a multidisciplinary artist whose work moves between painting, sculpture, and installation. Her practice explores the tension between softness and structure, intimacy and exposure—often drawing from personal memory, Georgian heritage, and the quiet poetry of everyday objects.

Lomadze’s delicate gestures and tactile surfaces evoke both vulnerability and resilience. By layering translucent fabrics, organic forms, and subtle tonal shifts, she creates emotional landscapes that invite introspection and embodied perception.

A graduate of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, she has participated in group and solo exhibitions in Georgia and abroad. In her recent work, Mako delves deeper into questions of feminine presence, spatial memory, and invisible labor—constructing visual narratives that feel both fragile and unshakable.
