Anna Liisa Sääsk

Anna-Liisa Sääsk (b.2000 Estonia) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans printmaking, illustration, animation, and performance. Her work moves between contemporary graphic art and visual storytelling, often blending traditional techniques with experimental formats. Drawing on themes of identity, memory, and connection, Sääsk’s imagery is both playful and politically aware—anchored in a curiosity about cultural belonging and the narratives that shape us.

A graduate of Pallas University of Applied Sciences, Sääsk has exhibited across Estonia and internationally, with notable projects including the “Kunstikompott” festival (which she co-founded), and her debut solo exhibition Wiiralt ja kaks eesti tüdrukut at Rüki Gallery. Her work has been recognized with the Ilon Wikland Young Artist Prize and audience awards from the TYPA Printmaking Centre.

In 2023, Sääsk joined KERA’s internship and residency program in Tbilisi, an experience that deepened her engagement with printmaking and cross-cultural dialogue. Her recent works continue to explore how personal and collective histories intersect—through line, gesture, and graphic resonance.
